Vegas keeps freezing

When using Particle Illusion, BCC Title Studio or BCC Type on Text within Vegas Pro 18 Suite, after a few minutes Vegas stops working and has to be shut down using task manager.

My system has the following components:-

Processor (CPU) Intel® Core™ i9 Eight Core Processor i9-9900K (3.6GHz) 16MB Cache

Motherboard Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO: ATX, LG1151, USB 3.1, SATA 6GBs - RGB Ready

Memory (RAM) 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 16GB)

Graphics Card 6GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1660 Ti - HDMI, DP - GeForce GTX VR Ready!

2x M.2 SSD Drive 500GB SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 3500MB/R, 3200MB/W)

Any help would be appreciated.

Keep an eye on task manager and watch main memory and gpu memory use.

Also you might consider updating to the 457.30 Studio driver as Nvidia claim some additional BCC optimizations in that release. I know that updating took care of a problem I was having with a different boris product.

Can you tell me what I should be looking for as a problem in the Task Manager, how does it manifest itself?

Its used in preferences and was set at that figure when i reset Vegas to default settings.

Should it be something different?

But probably you don't use this option oft (in Tools by shift-B), that is now further not available because it is reserved for nothing.
The default setting is 200mb but you can set it to 0.
After restart try again and look at your used memory
