Vegas membership guide

How do you feel about creating sort of a Vegas membership guide -- a list of companies that use Vegas exclusively or primarily in their production for Web, broadcast, film, etc.

I'd be interested not only because I'd like to seek out work samples but also in considering future opportunities.

I'll start:
Eighty percent of videos we post at the Daytona Beach News-Journal is produced in Vegas:

Sure - a great idea. Here's a response from Downunder.

100% of videos we produce including educational, medical and documentary programs are produced using the combination of Vegas, DVDA, Sound Forge, Acid and Cinescore. We've been doing this since the earliest Sonic Foundry Video Factory version almost a decade ago.
We use Xara Extreme Pro and Paintshop Pro for graphics.
Notwithstanding recent glitches we've encountered (see related posts this forum) we have found this suite of software to be intuitive, totally reliable and the fastest way to get from idea to finished video. I have colleagues using FCP who bring material to me for rendering because they can't believe how fast the system is!

Surprised by the lack of response. Maybe companies don't want to go on record as using Vegas

I don't think people don't want to participate, I just think people (or at least myself) find it redundant. If you are on this forum and have any sort of regular postings, you use Vegas.

I could be wrong about why I think no one has responded, but that would be my reason.

True, but I was hoping we could compile a list of media companies that use Vegas, primarily so we could get an idea of how widespread that use is -- or is not. The post yesterday celebrating the TV show produced with Vegas inspired my post. Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Ditto.

And to what end? A self-admiration-society? We've already got that!

I would say the question is only helping to perpetrate the myth on which it's based.
