Vegas Mentor for a novice?

Are there any Vegas gurus in Central IL who would be willing to mentor me? I'm a visual learner -- I pick up more by watching somebody do a task than by reading a book...

Or -- anybody out there who has Vegas on Windows XP who would consider allowing me to watch your desktop (via remote assistance) while you work?

I've got years and years of video that's been shot and I haven't done anything with it. I've had best intentions, but get overwhelmed every time I try to start a project.

I'm closer to Chicago, but always willing to help out. Contact me off-line if you want to discuss more.

Hi stripes,
I'm in Central, IL...about 45 miles west of Springfield.
I am not a "deep" user of Vegas, but have been using for three years or so.
I have done quite a bit of home video in the past year as well.
Recording on video cam and making DVDs.
Have also done some video/audio syncing with clients in my studio.
Pretty easy stuff to do basically.

I Might be of some help.
