I'm using Vegas and trying to get MTC to my 03D so that I
can do automated mixing on the 03D. Vegas is generating
30FPS ND timecode and it is being sent out to a MOTU pocket
Express Port B and directly connected to the 03D Midi IN.
My 03D timebase is also set to 30fps ND. Also I'm sending
the MTC from Port B to a MOTU Micro Express which is
connected to My Studio Vision sequencer. The Sequencer
reads the MTC with no problems, The 03D can not understand
it although it shows that it's getting midi input. So
basically I can't get the 03d to understand the Timecode
it's receiving. Here's another kicker. I switch Vegas to
generate beat clock and switch my sequencer and 03D to read
Midi beat clock and both are able to read the beat clock
information. Anyone have any suggestions or have run into
this problem with a Yamaha mixer?
