Vegas, MOV, iOS11 and PC Users?

At the risk of having this post being shovelled off somewhere else, anybody have an opinion that the new APPLE iOS 11 that is purportedly to have image/video issues for PC Users could have ramifications for us using MAGIX Vegas Pro 15?

If anyone can share a sample clip, that can help developers making it compatible in case the new codec is troubling.
