About a week ago Vegas Movie Studio started crashing every time I try to move a file from project media to the timeline. It doesn't matter what filetype, .jpg or .mov. Up until recently it has been working properly in vista compatability mode (it stopped working after the windows 8 to 10 upgrade months ago until I started using vista compatability mode).

I have Vegas Movie Studio Platinum HD v10.0 build 179, installed on a surface pro 3 with windows 10. Uninstalled and reinstalled, same issue. Tried all different compatibility modes, same issue. I uninstalled all vthe windows updates back through September 27th, still same issue. Reinstalled the updates, still crashing.

I hate to lose use of this great tool, it used to do perfectly what I wanted it to do, but now I'm stuck. Any ideas?
