Vegas Movie Studio 8 VS 9

Getting ready to render a bunch of old family videos and I currently have Version 8. Is there anything in Ver 9 that would be better for processing the files?

I have 8 and passed on 9.

We're still waiting for 10 so I'd wait to see what it has before deciding to upgrade.
