I have a laptop with the AMD Radeon R7 M270 GPU and Vegas recognizes it. I select it for GPU acceleration but it does not use it at all. I monitored the activity on the GPU and when I open up Vegas and try to play back a 4K video it is unusable for both editing and playback because it used only the CPU for video decoding. The AMD Catalyst software has Vegas set up to run with maximum performance. I have updated my GPU driver and reinstalled Vegas and I still get poor performance.

What is the solution? If I can't get this to work to software is useless. BTW, I have been using Vegas for several years now. I love the software when it works. I think I started out with version 9.
