I have recently purchased a new version of Vegas Platinum 10 and installed it on a Vista 64 bit machine. I have set it to run in administrator mode. Every time I start to run it, I get a message that says it has stopped running when it gets to the creating file I/O manager message on splash page. it is build 179.

DVD A 5.O doesn't even make it to the splash page.

I did load the trial copy on my Win 7 laptop. Works find there.

Any help would be appreciated.
