Vegas Movie Studio Version 14 and 17 will not load

The product will not load. Part way through the load process it bombs with the error

Movie Studio Platinum microsoft .net runtime could not be initialized

Run- time error 80131700 Could not Initialize common language runtme engine.

I am running Windows 10 64 bit with all the latest updates.

Goto Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features and select and install all with .NET, following this

Thank you for your reply. I have selected and installed all .NET features but it still does not work. I have also gone to the Microsoft site to use their .NET repair utility. It says my .NET is ok, butI'm still having the error when loading Vegas Movie Studio.
