I was just looking through the V6 manual pdf, and did anyone else notice that mp3's made with Vegas can't be used for commercial purposes (ie broadcast, electronic distrubation, etc)?
I can't find any legal info of my V4 codec's & don't have V5 to see if it's in that manual.
I seriously theres any way to prove it was made with Vegas. There are so many mp3 encoders out there, it would be hard to prove someone used Vegas to create an mp3.
Personally, I use AAC audio as it is more clear and crisp than most of the crappy mp3s.
On Vegas 5 there is no mention in the pdf version of the manual. It did say that render only clients may not be distributed.
I wonder about that?? I also keep a copy of LaME around just in case, and it's tags are slightly different, but as you know works great.
