I'd appreciate some help with this..

I've installed Vega-MS 4.0a with the 30 day trial license. So far, I like the look of the product but this issue is frustrating me.

I'm trying to capture a few minutes off a tape that doesn't have a full, end to end timecode written (there's only about 5 minutes of video on it)

When I open the capture tool (Video Capture Xpress 5.0a) and try to use the Advanced Capture option I cannot access the Clip name/Tape name/Comment/Rating/Timecode in/out controls or associated icons - they're disabled/greyed out [or, possibly, grayed out]

My camera is a Sony miniDV PC-100E and the computer is a Sony Vaio (WinXP) with 2 onboard Firewire ports. I can use the ctrl-G (Go To Timecode) feature and that works.

Any ideas why I can't use Advanced Edit.
