i am trying to configure a system
using vegas pro [for audio] and cubase v3.7
for midi only

CUBASE[slave] IS SUPPOSED TO SYNC TO
VEGAS PRO[master]via MTC

when i start vegas pro cubase follows as expected,
as soon as i toggle to cubase it activates its
stop button -----it'll kick in a few seconds
later[anything up to 1 minute]
throwing out all the timing

also clicking the mouse [in cubase]will mute
vegas audio and stop cubase running-
THERE ARE other anomalies

there is obviously a conflict somewhere has anyone
else had this prob ?
does anyone know of any solutions or reasons?

i am using hubis loopback[v2.6] and MTC
my soundcard is a SW1000XG
