Vegas no longer smart-rendering.

I can no longer get Vegas to smart-render any format. Not Cineform, not mpeg, not anything. Smart-rendering is turned on in the preferences, my footage is a smart-renderable format and I'm doing it the way I've done it countless times before. This may well be the first time I've tried smart-rendering since I updated to Windows 7 though. Anyone else having smart-rendering issues lately?

I just used it twice yesterday without issue. My video is hdv 1440x1080i captured straight from the HVR-A1U.

Not here. Win 7 64 and Vegas 9.0c 32 - and I enjoy the very fast smart rendering with much of my work.

The critical settings seem to be dimensions and PAR (of course), frame rate, max BR, av BR, and field order. It is the last one that trips me up a lot.
