Vegas Pro 10.0 Audio Format

I want to render a video that includes audio. When I render and choose Render, I select Video For Windows as the type. I then click Custom. Next, I click the Audio tab that appears on the popup.

I include audio, but my only option for Audio Format is PCM Uncompressed. I do not wish to render with uncompressed audio, since it consumes a huge amount of storage space.

Why do I not have any additional audio formats available? Is this intential, or is my installation screwed up? This is under Vegas Pro 10.0 x64.

Thanks.

PCM is the only audio format allowed for DV AVI. You can't change that.

Selecting other templates and/or file types will expose the audio format options available to you in Vegas, including MP3.

Thank you.

Yes -- I realized this shortly after posting when I specified the template for the project. I had then noticed more audio formats were then available.
