Vegas Pro 11 trial crashes on startup

Win7 x64 machine, and I can't run the trial. It crashes on "Creating File I/o Manager". Any pointers?

I should add, I'm running Pro 8 on the same machine without any trouble.

OK, strange. Installing Vegas Pro 8 fixed the issue.
