Vegas Pro 13 Crashes Video Drive everytime

So I have been using Vegas since version 5 on six different computers and it has been consistently the most crash-free reliable application. Most recently I ran this version of Vegas on a Win 7 machine without any problem ever. That computer died and I got a new Win 10 PC recently and now every time the program previews anything, it crashes the video driver and then freezes. I am using the on-board Intel 530 graphics. Everything else - including Photoshop CS6 - is rock solid. The only app with any hint of a problem is Vegas. I tried updating the graphic driver, then rolling back. Uninstalling and reinstalling Vegas. Nada. Any ideas?

Have you turned off the GPU acceleration of video processing under Preferences>Video>?

I am actually using Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13 On 3 occasions, I have constructed complex movie project that have taken 3 to 4 months to complete. Each time that I try to send the project to Architect to burn a disk, my project and all of the data is lost. I have had experts attempt to recover the data but it can't be recovered in a usable manner. I had purchase a Technical Support (Telephone Support) contract but each time I have attempted to contact them in the past 6 weeks, I receive a message stating that they were closed and suggesting an e-mail contact. E-Mail has not worked for me in the past.but I did send a detailed message about a month ago but no response. I am somewhat a novice at using this program. I would like to get the support that I have paid for. I followed their suggestions after the first two incidents without success. The project is just short of 1 TB in length with video segments mixed with stills and text. It appears that I will not get any assistance from Sony do if anyone can offer suggestions, it will be appreciated.

Thank You and have a good day.

@Robert
Tell us a bit more about the project? Does include by any chance Quicktime files like .mov? Where are the source files and where are you rendering to? What is the system spec of your machine?

Thanks Donald, disabling GPU acceleration solved the issue.
