Vegas Pro 13 most recent build?

Been away from VP13 for quite a while and a beginner. Reading through the forum topics, I've seen reference to VP13 build 545. My VP13 build is 453. When I sign in and give the serial #, screen says no updates available. I can find no places on the site for VP13 updates, only a VP13 download. Somewhere, I thought I saw a statement that Magix will not support older Sony Creative Software. Any help. I am confused. And is there any good reason to update to build 545 (assuming it exists)?
Thanks much in advance. BTW, I'm impressed with this forum and looking forward to being involved with it.

Nick's FAQ should have the answer here ... Build 545 does exist, but no good reason that I know of to upgrade to VP13 Build 545.

VP13 b545 (released by Magix) was effectively b453 (released by SCS) but with Sony branding replaced by Magix branding. Interestingly, b545 came without AC3 Pro rendering which was included in b453.

b545 was really a stepping stone to VP14 in that a purchase of VP13 b545 also included VP14 when it was t be released. There was no upgrade path from SCS's VP13 b453 to b545; b545 still had to be purchased even if you already owned b453.

AC3 Pro is not a part of Vegas Pro, it is a part of DVDA 6 which will implementet by installing DVDA 6

b545 still had to be purchased even if you already owned b453.

If you download and install VP13 b545 over SVP13 b453, you will "update" your old installation to the Magix version
New purchase is not required
But you have no advantages by the version b545

Thank you all very much. Exactly what I needed to know. I won't "fix it" if it is not broken. I'm sure I will be pestering you all with dumb questions as I learn this rather complex software. I'm also into creating music and visual special effects (have Sony SoundForge Pro, Hit Film Pro, animation software and Cakewalk Platinum DAW and many software VST instruments and effects, etc.) and learning how to work with them all in an integrated way to produce surreal video I'm sure will be a challenge. Thanks again.
