Vegas Pro 14 + BCC plugins. Rain not working in still images?

Hi everyone,

I need quick professional help. Last night I finished editing a beautiful music video for YT, a mix of video footage and still images. But after rendering, what a bad surprise: I noticed that some of the "BCC rain" had disappeared. I have been concentrating on the issue since this morning, even called the Boris support line several times (nobody picked up)... problem still unsolved, grrr. And the music video should be released on Sunday! The weird thing about the render is: the rain is okay in videos sequences. It has disappeared only from photos. How come the preview window of my project shows the rain everywhere, and the final render shows it on videos only? Should I understand that one can composite the BCC rain exclusively over video events, in the timeline? If so, I still need a solution. I need the rain to appear on the pictures too. Is there a way to get around the obstacle? Maybe by using a sort of a "go-between empty footage" that would "accept" the rain and let it appear in the final render?

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I've been using the very same BCC plugins for ages, but never over images, so this is the first time such a problem happens to me.

Perhaps also post this on BorisFX's forum at https://forum.borisfx.com/ to widen the possibility of a response.

I've just tested this in Vegas Pro 18 with BCC Rain on a still image. The render to mp4 works fine and the rain FX appears as expected.

Vegas Pro is fairly old now - which version of BCC are you using?

Thank you so much for your suggestion, and for testing the BCC rain in your VP18.

And yes, Vegas pro 14 is not recent, I have been planning on upgrading.... will definitely do so in the near future. For the time being I need to render the project with the rain on the JPEG images, I've been trying many options but nothing works, it is driving me crazy. The version of BCC I've been using for several years now without any problem: BORIS CC 9.0.2.
