[vegas pro 14] [bug?] Animation Interpolation always linear

DrGitGud wrote on 12/16/2017, 8:56 PM

Disclaimer: I literally bought v14 today, so my guess is I'm missing some weird setup if there's one

I'm trying to animate a lens flare movement through screen following a curve. I'm using the animation tool and set it to "manual" interpolation... but the results are always linear no matter what I set.

Here's a few screenshots to illustrate, notice how the y coord. of the hotspot center stays still in the first part and how it mover in the second.

Is this a bug? Are there any known workarounds/solutions?

Help please

On the bottom right of the screen you have LANES and CURVEs, select curves and you will see the nodes with handles.

that's what I used to set the curves.... to no effect.

Okay. It works in v12 so someone with v14 might have other information.

It looks like you are only changing the center. Click on one of the other lines to affect position

you mean the x and y values? Look, it does work for linear changes, it's just the smoothing/interpolation that doesn't
