Vegas Pro 14 & DVD Architecture (Closed Captioning/Subtitles)

The DVD Architect will not accept the .sub file when I try to import it into DVD Architect. It says that it is not compatible. The DVD Architect manual tells me to covert it into a .txt file but the formatting is gone and all of my text are at the bottom of the screen without the black background normally seen in Closed Caption. The Video file for the project is AVCHD 1440x1080-60i. Can anyone suggest a solution to this?

Thanks!

Cecil

Note: I have Windows 10 with 64 GB of ram. A very robust PC very capable of rendering fairly large files. This particular project is 93 minutes long.

Are you wanting Closed Caption or subtitles? They are totally different things.

Close captions . I created them in Vegas under closed caption 1. the result was a SCC file which looked graet within Vegas but was rejected by DVDA.

DVDA does not support closed captions unless it is embedded in the MPEG file.. It only support Subtitles as am import.
