Vegas Pro 15 "Best (full)" video preview crashes the program

When I'm editing, if I have the video preview at "Best (full)" the preview window will freeze after about 1-2 mins. Even after freezing, the audio will keep going. I can still make cuts on the timeline. I can drag stuff around on the timeline. I can even save the project in most cases. But if I try to pause the video, the program crashes. No specific error just "Sony Vegas has stopped working."

I can fix the issue by downgrading the video preview. Even at "Best (half)" I don't have an issue.

But I have Song Vegas Movie Studio 11. And I run that thing at "Best (full)" all the time and it never crashes. Vegas Pro 15 being an upgrade, seems to me like I should be able to still use the same features. Are there any kind of settings I can play around with on Vegas Pro 15 that might fix the issue?

What do you now use at Options/Preferences/Video? Please deliver a screenshot of those settings.
And what is your hardware, processor and available internal memory please(installed memory_RAM)

Hey, so I got some advice on another issue I was having and that seems to have fixed the problem. I needed to be on progressive scan in the project settings. So far it hasn't crashed again (knock on wood).
