VEGAS Pro 15 - BSOD during playback

Hello!

About a month ago, when I was editing in VEGAS Pro 15, I was playing back my video, when with no prior indication of freezing, my computer suddenly blue-screens and my project file gets turned into a temporary file. I am able to restore my project to its previous state, but this is quite annoying and I don't know what's causing it. Though I have found that it happens when I work within a project file for a few weeks.

Currently, the short-term solution has been to update my graphics drivers and my VEGAS build. But even after I did that, it took one month and my computer was crashing again. It has crashed a total of 4 times. I've tried contacting MAGIX for support, but they have not been able to help (and in fact, they have blamed my PC and claimed that it crashes several times a day, which it does not), even after I provided them my computer specs and the proper information (msinfo32).

I'm using a laptop with an Intel Core i7-8750H at base speed, a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, 16GB of RAM, and Windows 10. The version of my software is VEGAS Pro 15, build 416. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

@N-J - So many things could be going on, and I doubt it is VP15. Do some top-level Health checks of your system and its hardware. My initial thoughts would be a failing Hard Drive.
