VEGAS Pro 17 crashing a lot

TamaMan wrote on 5/2/2020, 10:00 AM

SW: VEGAS Pro 17 (Build 421)
OS: Windows 10 Pro (18363.778)
HW: Lenovo E560

My VEGAS Pro 17 has started crashing a lot recently. No certain steps how to reproduce, just random crashes. Even if Vegas was just launched without any project opened, it may crash.

Where should I start investigating the issue?

regards,
-TamaMan

I think your processor is not strong enough to use this program.
State therefore here your processor number, which GPU is being used in Vegas at Options/Preferences/Video and which drivernumber is installed for that GPU.
Where is the Vegas program Located?

1. The crash of the report is due to the installed Avid Pro program, probably the audio driver of it.
You can try to uninstall it and looks than how it goes.
2. The used processor is in fact unable to manege this program good, yours has 2 cores and the specs of the program says you need 4
