Vegas Pro 17 - Effect Not Found: VEGAS Color Grading - Fix?

Xiagax wrote on 1/13/2021, 7:13 PM

Every I click on a video clip, I get an error message that looks like this

Looking into the Vegas 17.0 folder, I can see there are two files; colorgradingtools.dll and colorgradingwindow.dll

So I do not know what the problem is because having to deal with this error is annoying and time consuming when working with a large project. Is there a way I can fix this error so it goes away?

Didn't you just rename the folder so Vegas can't find it? https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-pro-17-stuck-at-loading-video-plugin-factory--126580/#ca787696

Changing it back doesn't fix it, it would only revert me back to getting stuck, loading on the splash screen

Did you install any 3rd party OFXs?

No 3rd party plug ins have been installed, it is a fresh install

I'd put the folder back where it belongs and reset Vegas (control/shift on startup).

If it still won't load, screenshot what is in your plug-in folder and show us. I can see how it compares to my working version.
