Vegas Pro 17 freeze when editing more than 2 timelines

Hello everyone,

I've been using Vegas Pro since 2011, and even though all of it's problems (when comparing it to other editing software), i am still a huge fan of the user interface and the pace in which somebody could work with the program. That is until i installed Vegas Pro 17. Unfortunately it is virtually impossible now to work with Vegas Pro due to the constant freezing/crashing that i get when editing 2 video tracks from 2 or more different timelines. After a couple of minutes of editing, when trimming the event on top of another event, it keeps freezing, without even having the possibility to send a crash report. And this is happening with various video files and codecs.

This is an issue that i didn't have with the 16th version of the program. If somebody has dealt with the same issue pls let me know if there is something i could do about this.

With Regards.

There's a number of issues that can cause this to happen, but first place I usually start is updating my GPU drivers (using the studio drivers if you use Nvidia hardware). Also make sure you have the latest update for Vegas 17 installed.

From there, read the thread stickied at the top of the forums that tells you what info we need from you to diagnose your problem, post that info here, and we'll see what we can do to help you get to the bottom of it.
