Hello my friends!

I'm having big problems with my rendered files.

Everytime there problems. The rendered video has different problems: FPS drops, Random green screen, and etc.

I have no idea what causes it. It happens with any codec i choose to render.

- General
- Video, inclusive the driverversion if a GPU is selected for hardware accel.
- Deprecated features

Why are you thinking that Vegas is showing there your available RAM?
There is only listed what the max. amount of RAM is that Vegas can use when you use the option to let render a region of your project with DYNAMIC RAM.
Windows has to state the total amount of available RAM, but that is other stuff.
The total RAM your PC can use is listed in Windows (properties) and the used amount can only be cleared as soon as possible by your used Windows settings.

I have not seen your problems with almost the same settings ( except file I/O MKV reader is not selected) with projects with 3 timelines full of HEVC 4K 50p files to render or to preview with Preview Best full at 50p in a 4K project.
But maybe I don't have your kind of sourcefiles that give you these problems. Are you able to upload one or another of such file or a small project with some files?

Turn off gpu acceleration and hardware decoding. it fixed it for me. obviously you will need to render proxies to edit.

I tried rendering something recently in Vegas Pro 17 (first project since upgrading) and also had glitches. Turned off GPU and it was solved but rendering is slow. Amazing to me that they have still not fixed the GPU issues after all these years. Resolve renders so much faster with GPU support and I've never had a single glitch.

I probably use Resolve 85% of the time now but Vegas still shines on certain projects so I decided to invest in 17 in the hopes they would spend my $200 on employee hours reprogramming the GPU support 😎

Glitches in rendering (I see you have a nvidea gpu) can sometimes be fixed by putting Dynamic RAM preview max to 0 in the Preferences => Video

This is an old issue that plagued me for about every Vegas version, with different hardware (but all Nvidea), and more so in combination with certain hardware accelerated plug-ins.

As a rule I edit with dynamic Ram preview max to whatever suits you to help playback, but when I finally render I always turn it off (put to 0).
