Hi - rank beginner, but i've been using Vegas Pro 16 & 17's velocity envelope with no issues. just upgraded/installed Pro 18 and now the feature doesn't appear to work. the option is there in the context dialog, it checks/unchecks as if it's operational, but the timeline won't display the green velocity bar. I can't find a way to set the velocity for the track. Is there something obvious I'm missing in setup/options?

well, I seem to remember a reset option somewhere, but I've checked the help system and searched/indexed and can't find a reference to resetting. where do I find that?
Start VP with Ctrl+Shift pressed, then take the option to clear the cache.

I restarted VP with ctrl+shift and voila! it worked. Velocity envelope restored! thank you very much!!
It's fixed now, but maybe this was as simple as clicking View >> Video Envelopes >> Event Velocity? There is an option to hide the envelopes, so maybe that got activated by accident.
anything's possible...I didn't know about that option, so I may have inadvertently turned it off without knowing it. better armed for next time. thanks all!
In the sony versions , 100% line was shown in the middle whilst now it seems 100 % being almost at the bottom , is there a particular reason for that ? ( more people want increase rather than decrease velocity ? )
In that earlier versions the max of Velocity Envelope was 300 %. Now it is 1000 %. That's the reason. The whole range encreased. Before, 100 % was a third of it, now it's a tenth of it.
