Okay, so I decided to try the trial version of Vegas 19 Build 458 because I used to use Vegas 7, but I lost the information to download and activate it and I don't think my Windows 10 computer would be able to support it anyway. I've been wanting to update my software for years anyway and I've still got some existing .veg project files from 7. Most of my projects have had no problems opening except for one which uses material from 22 different 640x480 .wmv videos over the course of three minutes with some basic effects that I already confirmed Vegas 19 still has. The problem I have is that every time I try to open this project, it loads and then immediately gives me a Vegas Pro has stopped working message. I tried using an empty project to separately upload all of the content and build the peaks, but that didn't seem to help at all. I think it's having a hard time loading all the clips I've used, and ideally I would render a small chunk and drop that in to make it easier to load, but it crashes within seconds of opening. Any advice on what I can do on my end would be greatly appreciated. If you need more information, I'll do my best to provide it.
