VEGAS Pro 19 - Screen Capture appears Black

Hello,

I currently own the VEGAS Pro 19 and have been using it for the past year with no issues. However, recently I have upgraded my computer and had to get windows reinstalled. When I downloaded the VEGAS Pro 19 again I am now experiencing the following issues:

- The screen capture is turning completely black when I use it
- When I tried to put in old captures, they all appeared extremely blurry
- I uninstalled and reinstalled the program to see if it would fix the issue, but it didn't change anything

Can you advise how I can fix these issues?
Thankyou

The screen capture app does not work with all video cards/driver combinations. Personally, I use VEGAS Stream instead. Many others use OBS. In VEGAS Pro 20, the capture app is on the deprecated features tab and turned off by default.

Were you able to figure it out?

Either try a newer GPU driver, a newer version of VEGAS or just use better screencapture software like OBS or that which comes with your GPU.

I was able to figure it out through running VEGAS Pro 19 in Administrator mode. This seemed to allow me to use the screen capture tool, however the screen capture tool is only capable of recording up to a maximum 30FPS. Because of this I've started using OBS to record and Vegas to edit. I hope this helps. :)
