Vegas Pro 19 Serial Number due to a VP22 VST Plugin problem

Conor-Ackermann wrote on 8/6/2025, 5:37 PM

After testing out the 19th version of Vegas Pro, I'm not so sure about the serial number to activate this version called VEGAS Pro 19.0. I had to setup VEGAS Pro 19.0 with the setup itself, but I never did the full version: I used trial. can anyone tell me what the serial number for VEGAS Pro 19 is?

@Conor-Ackermann Serial numbers are unique to each purchaser. If you didn't actually purchase Vegas Pro 19 then you have no serial number with which to activate it.

Suggest you download the trial version of the current version Vegas Pro 22 and if you are happy with it purchase it. If you are not in a hurry it might pay to wait as Vegas Pro 23 will probably be out in the not too distant future.

@Conor-Ackermann Sorry, no one here is going to give you any serial number for Vegas. You can only download a trial version of Vegas Pro 22.... Had you previously bought any version of Vegas Pro?

I had purchased Vegas Pro 22, but I'm wanting to use Vegas Pro 19 because it can support VST Plugins like Vocodex, Orange Vocoder and more.

MAGIX Vegas's official trial version of Vegas Pro 19 was only available during Vegas Pro 19's life span which was roughly from August 2021 to August 2022 - up until when Vegas Pro 20 was released. If you did not purchase Vegas Pro 19 from MAGIX Vegas during its life span, you will need to find a private seller or 3rd party seller (e.g. Amazon) to purchase Vegas Pro 19 in order to obtain a serial number. But you'll to be wary because from previous posts on the forum, there have been quite a few cases of old version Vegas Pro purchasers being scammed by 3rd party sellers with dodgy serial numbers - even on Amazon (presumably where Amazon is acting as an agent, not the direct seller).

@Conor-Ackermann Thanks for explanation. So your real problem is why these plugins don't work in VP22. I'm surprised they don't but my knowledge on VST is zero. We'll have to leave it to the audio experts.

I'll try and alter the thread title to reflect the VST issue.

@Conor-Ackermann

Since Vegas Pro 19 only had VST2 support, it is possible you might be using a 32 bit plugin here. In Vegas 22, go to the preferences, select the Audio tab and select the "Enable support for 32-bit VST plug-ins" option and restart. See if that helps.
