If they're installed and VEGAS isn't seeing them, clear the cache in VEGAS.

HI! Thanks for the reply!
I was wondering if the only way to clear the Cache is to do CTRL+SHIFT and double-click on the software icon on the desktop. Because this method reset all preferences

You can also manually remove plugin_manager_cache.bin and svfx_plugin_cache.bin from C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro\<version number> and then restart VEGAS which will rebuild those two files. That will let you clear the cache without resetting all preferences.

Hello!
Unfortunately your advice didn't work, I also copied the missing effects from OFX into the path: C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 21.0\OFX Video Plug-Ins (it worked with twixtor.Pro)

it doesn't work with MB Mojo II and Sapphire, I don't understand why (strange)

Cheers

Maybe because Sapphire plugins are not installed in that location? I didn't find Sapphire in the location you listed. MBLooks (old version) also isn't in the location where you posted. The only 3rd party plugin that I have, and it's Vegas specific that appear in your location is Mercalli Suite. BorisFX Continuum Complete, Sapphire, Ignite Pro, Graide, NBFX, Pixelan are all in the location listed below.

Plugins in C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins

Plugins in C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 21.0 (or 20, 19, etc.)

HI! I tried to put the plugin folders in both paths, but the software doesn't see anything

Cheers

Reyfox wrote on 10/30/2023, 3:30 AM

I would do an uninstall of the plugins and then reinstall them. Check to make sure they are installed in the correct location, rename the Vegas cache (both of them), restart Vegas and let it rebuild.

If all else fails, BorisFX has a great forum where you can get help.

Of course, thank you for your advice! Sorry I have another question for you, what name do I give it to Vegas cache file?

Reyfox wrote on 10/30/2023, 5:44 AM

I usually just rename the two files something along the lines of plugin_manager_cache.bin_Orig. Vegas will not load this file, but create a new one without "_Orig" suffix. Do the same with svfx_plugin_cache.bin.

Restart Vegas, and let things rebuild and see how it goes. Other than that, again, Boris FX has a great user forum with Boris programmers replying, and/or go to their Support .

I renamed the .bin files to: %appdata% into VEGAS Pro folder, but I receive same message

Did you uninstall and then reinstall the plugin?

so I have to:

uninstall the plugin
and install the plugin (again).
and rename those two files to %AppData%
right?

Reyfox wrote on 10/30/2023, 9:17 AM

That is what I would do.
