Vegas Pro 21 not responding HELP!

Matias-Martinez wrote on 4/25/2024, 2:31 PM

I just bought the Vegas Pro 21 and I can't work. Half of the videos cause the program to freeze with a blank screen and end up crashing.
The same thing happens when I can finally place a video, if for example I am making a mask, and I leave Vegas to see something outside the program, when I enter I have the same problem and it crashes again.
This version is giving me many problems that I did not have with version Vegas Pro17 that I used to use downloaded from another site.

My computer meets the requirements for the program. Ryzen 5 4500, RTX 3050 and 32 Gb RAM.

I have already assigned 16 GB of RAM to the video preferences

I don't know if in this version you have to make any specific configuration, and as far as I know I can't access a previous version of Vegas Pro without having previously purchased it.
If anyone can help me, I'd appreciate it.

Try build 208 which is more stable. Hopefully 300 will get a bugfix before long.

How can i change that?

You can uninstall VEGAS Pro from add/remove programs and then download 21.208 from here and install it.

Oh, I can download Vegas 17 and the license works just the same, doesn't it?

It worked my brother, it worked! Apparently it was a problem with build 300, it seemed like the same thing was going to happen to 208 but it made an automatic adjustment for a few seconds and that's it! Thank you very much for the help! God bless you!

I wouldn't use 17 if you have access to newer versions of VEGAS. If you had a license for 17 you can download it from the same place. A 21 serial won't work with 17.

Glad that 208 worked for you!
