Vegas Pro 21 video preview missing

Hi, I'd like some advice on Vegas Pro 21. I'm a mom of a boy who's been using your program for a long time. Unfortunately, this morning it did something - I don't know what - and the start screen changed. I don't know how to describe it, I don't know anything about it, but it looks like the entire "top part" of what was displayed on the screen, e.g. the movie preview - disappeared. How do I get back to the start settings?

Could you please share a screenshot? (windows + shift + s can do this and then upload using the arrow next to the smiley face in the comment field on this forum).

In general you can save and restore window layouts from the view menu as well as bring back individual windows (if you clicked x to close the preview by accident).
