I'm having issues with adding text events to my projects. Frequently, when I add a text event and am setting the parameters in the dialog box, Vegas will sort of freeze. It doesn't lock up, I can move the mouse and click menus, and, thankfully, I am able to save the project. But no video is visible, and what I'm setting in the dialog box is not visible in the preview window, No video is visible. I have to save the project and restart Vegas. What I was doing is there on the timeline, but it's becoming a hassle to keep closing and reopening Vegas. Is anyone else having this issue?

For what it's worth, I save a lot of Titles and Text Presets because a lot of what I do is repetitive, so I save the templates and just change the text accordingly. Could this have anything to do with the issue? In addition to the supplied text templates, I have saved 34 custom templates.
