So i installed vegas on my new PC with a 5070 gpu and such and it wont render the video on nv encoder. I tried gpu acceleration being on and off, and still causing issues. I'm also not rolling back the drivers because thats terrible for gaming, so does anyone have any solutions for this? I can render just fine on my other pc with the newest gpu updated driver and on a 3070 gpu so

What version of VEGAS Pro are you using? Vegas pro 22

What version of Windows are you using? 11

What exact graphics card do you have in your PC? 5070 gpu

Is it a pirated copy of VEGAS? It's okay if it is just abide by the rules and you won't get permanently banned - no

Have you searched the subreddit using keywords for this issue yet? yes, but all it speaks about rolling back drivers, thats not happenin

I have the same GPU. You need to use driver 581.57 as NVIDIA deprecated these driver presets that VEGAS 15-22 needs with the latest drivers.

So the only choice is to update to vegas 23 then? Thats honeslty insane, considering I've only had 22 for less than a year but it says 149 to update to 23. I cant roll back drivers as i compete on a video game

Yes, 23 doesn't have this issue. Or render using QSV or Mainconcept encoders, NVENC through Voukoder Pro or Happy Otter Scripts, etc.

Feel free to tell NVIDIA to allow these encoding modes to continue to work as the change breaks multiple programs.

I just got the free trial for 23 for now. What is voukoder pro? is that a way that I can possibly use 22 still?
