Hello,

I’m experiencing a strange issue in VEGAS Pro 23, and this is the first time it has ever happened.
I’ve been using VEGAS Pro 23 for about two months and have already edited two very large projects without any issue. I did not change any settings or options at all — the problem appeared suddenly.

When I press Play, the master audio meter does not respond and the playhead disappears.
To restore both the playhead and the master meter, I have to double-click the vertical timeline scroll bar on the right side of the timeline (the bar used to navigate up and down).

After doing this, playback works normally again.
However, as soon as I navigate vertically in the timeline, the issue returns:

the master meter stops working

the playhead disappears again

I then have to double-click the vertical timeline scroll bar again to restore normal behavior.

I will also record a short video to clearly demonstrate the issue.
