I am a user of VEGAS Pro 23 (Steam Edition), and I am writing this out of deep frustration. It has been over two weeks since I submitted my inquiry, yet I have received no response at all.

I recently upgraded my system to an RTX 5080 to improve my editing workflow, but I am shocked and disappointed to find that this software cannot even handle AV1 files or edit beyond 30fps. What was the point of investing in a high-end GPU if the software can't even utilize its basic modern features?

I am currently facing two critical issues:

No AV1 Support: The software fails to import or read AV1 video files, even with a GPU that fully supports it.

30fps Limitation: I am stuck at 30fps during editing and rendering, with no way to increase the frame rate.

I need a clear, definitive answer: Is there a specific way to fix these issues in the current Steam version? Or are these features simply not supported?

If they are not supported, please just say so. I need to know whether I should wait for a patch or if it’s time to move on to a different editing software that actually supports modern hardware. I cannot afford to wait indefinitely without any communication.
