Vegas Pro 365 License But Can't Use Speech-to-Text?

I have a Vegas Pro 365 subscription. And I've been using speech-to-text for months now. And randomly, yesterday, my ability to use this feature went away. Now when I try to select "speech-to-text" under "tools", I get the error message "This feature requires a VEGAS 365 license.". However, when I go to the Vegas Hub and select "My Profile", it shows my active subscription as "VEGAS Pro 365".

Also, as a side note, text-to-speech still works. Just not speech-to-text.

Hi,

I'm having this exact same issue. Have been using speech-to-text for months with no problems but now I can't. Text to Speech also seems to be working fine.

Did this break server-side again?

As of 12/21... I am still experiencing this issue. It began working 12/18 for a short period of time but stopped again and hasn't been working again for 2 days now.

If it makes you feel any better, you're not the only one. I have been having sporadic issues the past couple of weeks. Are you running a vpn? I have found that can cause issues with various sites, although I can't say disabling mine resulted in a satisfactory outcome. It seems to come and go. The Vegas people seem to be aware of it and are probably just as frustrated as we are. It's probably a manifestation of the general sloppiness that seems to be enshrouding the world around us. Listening to Paul Thurrott, the Microsoft watcher often laments a lot of the newer, younger "teams" working products are making a mess of things. But then we're just a bunch of old codgers complaining . . . ask ChatGPT for the answer. ;-)

Also running into the same issue of it not working.. Would love to see a rework of the Text to Speech feature add more things with shortform content being so much more prominent these days

Hi! Sorry to hear the fix didn't work for you. Please keep in mind that diagnosing problems is quite difficult if there is no info of how the feature is not working (symptoms/expected behavior vs. experience). Could you provide any screenshots/screencaps and a step by step description of what you are doing to assist us in finding the cause of this issue?
