Vegas Pro 8.0 vs 8.1 & ASIO drivers on Win 7 64bit

Not sure if Windows 7, 64 BIT is the problem, but with version 8.1 of Vegas, I do not have the option of choosing ASIO for my Audio Devices, yet on version 8.0 I do.

What's going on? Does Vegas 8.1 not support this?

Maybe your Asio driver isn't 64-bit.
If that's the case, try ASIO4ALL as the newest Beta driver appears to support Windows 7.

I have no issues in Vegas 32 or 64 with Creative ASIO in win7 so it must be a problem with your machine. Try re-installing the sound card.

Tried re-installing but ends up the same. I can sellect ASIO in Vegas 8.0, but not with Vegas 8.1.

Tried the ASIO4ALL and while Vegas 8.1 could see it, strangly enough I could not get it set up to identify each speaker.

I just can't understand why version 8.0 works and not 8.1.
