I work for a recording studio and another studio has asked us to ADR a local talent. We use Vegas for our recording but they use Pro Tools. Are there any issues with Vegas Pro Connect to Pro Tools?
It depends on what is wanted. A Vegas <.veg> timeline project and PTs 'session' are not compatible and would need to be converted. I use AATranslater which x-converts many different project file formats. Older versions of VP could export a PT compatible AAF format, but AFAIK, that is no longer an option .. I am not sure if PTs can import an XML .
Otherwise you courld send the the PT studio a video with the pertinent audio track(s). and timecode (stamp and window burn) . The PT studio would likely return the ADR audio in a BWF file to import to VP.. or you could import and wild-sync. though PluralEyes or HOS sync utilities may work.
