I'm guessing same server cluster that supports new new installation is supporting the much-needed patch that has just been posted. It's overloaded. Nothing can be done but wait, unfortunately.

@Devin-Worlds you can't install Vegas without an internet connection to their servers, which seem to be not working.

I would have read through the posts before uninstalling. All you would have had to do was unplug the internet from your computer, start VP20 and let it fully load, then connect your computer to the internet again if you want. This would have worked fine until Magix decides to do something with their servers. Then download Build 403 (which seemed to have broken loading previous project automatically) and install it.

I agree I should have checked first. I've been using Vegas since it was still owned by Sony and never came across an issue such as this. So I figured if a restart didn't work then reinstalling would.

The problem is that now, it seems that everyone is coming out of the woodwork creating new posts saying the same thing as others have already said, flooding the forum to the point where a workaround can be buried beneath an avalanche of people repeating the same thing.

Magix servers have never been known for their speed. Much earlier today, it took me 20 minutes to download both files and install. I have a fiber optic internet, so it wasn't a problem on my end. Maybe they will fix the infrastructure after this...

maybe someone could put the file up elsewhere so we can get it. a 4 hour download is unheard of these days.

Ive been downloading since 7 am this morning, Vegas Pro 20 is at 66%. It keeps stopping and starting. I'm on fiber internet with speeds of 1gb/s +

Me ocurre lo mismo, donde podemos reclamar? Yo necesito usarlo ya y ha desinstalado la versión anterior.
