I have had the Vegas program since it released. I have had some minor problems with dropouts but this is the first time I have seen this. My set up is 1.5 gig pentium 4-400mhz FSB, 128 mg RAM, 2 IBM Ultra SCSI drives, Adaptec SCSI with 40/mb max transfer. Lat night I was working on a mix with 13 tracks and as I got through the song the RAM meter in the lower coner started climbing until it maxed out and glitched to the point where the audio dropped terribly. I checked other files and mixes and none of them did it. Usually the RAM meter stays between 23-35. THe only thing that is different is that I am using alot of track compression on this mix and the bus meter is at a higher volume. Any one else ever seen this? I don't want to have to remix this to be able to work on it.
Thanks!!
