My computer locked up during a fairly complex render, and I had to reset/reboot.
When I went to re-open the project, a pop up advised me that the last project had not closed correctly, but Vegas had saved the project under a name something like "00000013.restored.veg" and that I should Save as immediately under a new name to preserve the data.
The trouble was, the restored project was not the most recent version of my project, and in fact when I re-opened my previous project, this WAS the most recent, as I had saved it prior to rendering.
It may well be that the exact time that the restored project was last auto-saved depended on my settings, but it seems a waste of time and misleading to tell me that this had been saved to help me, when I had a more recent version I had saved myself. In fact, if I had chosen to save this restored project as the last named version, then the out-of date version would have replaced my more recent one.
Has anyone else experienced this?
