I'm certain something has changed, somewhere along the way.
Used to be I could create a looped region, R Click and do a Open Copy in SF and Vegas would make a copy of the selected track of only the region and open SF to edit that.
Now it seems the dang thing makes a copy of the whole audio event, which can take quite a while and makes it a PIA to find the little bit I need to work on. Worse still of course the Take that I get back is huge.
Of course I could be wrong, maybe I just dreamt about such obvious functionality?
