Vegas Slide transitions - blue bar on edge of element.

When I use Vegas Slide transitions, about 20% of the time it generates a blue bar at the end of the media element. This has been present since Vegas 15 at least. Is there a way to fix it?

Both preview and render. If it shows in preview, it shows in render.
