Vegas Split screen bottom work area?

Somehow I have it where I can no longer work in the trimmer on the left side while seeing a small preview on the right - the work ares at the bottom of the screen are fully spread horizontally - how the heck do I reset them back to split?

The easiest way is probably to hold down CTRL+SHIFT while starting Vegas. It resets ALL settings to default (including options-preferences and file-properties.)

There are minimize/maximize buttons in the upper left corner ot the docking windows, and you can drag the vertical bars left or right to split the docking area to suit.
