I wanted to followup with my post yesterday with my 1394 devices(camcorder and a/dcanopus (ADVC-100) not being able to be detected by Vegas. The xp windows movie maker sees the devices just fine, and capture using that and import to Vegas for editing. II did what Spot said and disabled 1394 on the network and that didnt help. The TI OHCI compliant 1394 card installed by Dell is also using the microsoft driver which was recommended. I went to the Microsoft page and no updates on the driver (although it is a 1991 driver). The XP movie Maker works fine but I would rather capture in Vegas. I have the 4.0D Vegas loaded. Im pretty sure I saw my son capture in Vegas 4.0c about 3 months ago with the same set up before I downloaded the update. Any suggestions ?? anyone having a similar problem?? JOHN
