I thought it was $129.00 for VMS-P but I don't keep up on the prices of the software very often.

The biggest advantage to auggybendoggy getting Platinum is that DVD authoring is built in to the package (plus a lot of extras).
By getting Vegas 6, you have to add DVD Architect which is extra money.
BTW, Sony wants $130 for Platinum while Videoguys has it for $115.
