Vegas Titler Tool??

In a recent thread about credit rolls and titles, there are references to a Vegas Title (or Titler) tool.

BUT... I don't find a Title tool or Titler tool in Vegas. And Vegas Help refers me to Text Generator, when I search for "Title" or "Titler". Am I missing something, or are folks really talking about the Text Generator when they say Title tool?

Yes, that's what is happening. They then use pan/crop to animate the titles, although the lack of the sync facility in the text generator makes this very difficult to use.

The text generator IS the titler tool.
